Equal Play® Family Training Model
Equal Play® Family Training Model was a training model registered by Senmily HK. It is designed for parents with children who have language disorders, and requires professional educators who have been certified by Senmily HK to operate the model to provide training for parents and children. Parents learn practical strategies in groups and one-on-one contexts to help their children improve their language and social skills in a play environment.
Equal Play® Targets
Equal Play® family training model gradually teaches you how to become your child’s most important language and game teacher. This mode shows you how to:
-Identify your child’s language development stages and game communication methods so that you know what steps to take next
-Determine what motivates your child to interact with you so that you know how to motivate the dialogue in the game
-Observe and adjust daily game routines, and use routines to help your children take turns and maintain interaction
-Listen to and follow your child’s needs, connect with your own experience, try to build your child’s confidence and encourage him to communicate
-Add language input in the interaction with the child to help him understand the language, and then use it when he is ready
-Adjust the way you play and read with your child, and help him use appropriate language to express his needs during the game -Improve the way you talk to your child, choose and adjust the appropriate game flow, and he can understand and learn new vocabulary
Equal Play® Training Elements
Equal Play® Certified Practitioner
The Equal Play® Certified Practitioner Program is suitable for registered speech therapists, registered social workers, and registered teachers. Through the Equal Play® certification, professional educators can use the the Equal Play® family training model to lead parent courses with greater impact to improve language and social interaction for the children.
